    Question MP3Car.COM in magazines?

Anyone know any magazines where this site has been featured?

If not, then we should work at getting some. Maximum PC comes to mind, but I'm sure there are others....
Player: Pentium 166MMX, Amptron 598LMR MB w/onboard Sound, Video, LAN, 10.2 Gig Fujitsu Laptop HD, Arise 865 DC-DC Converter, Lexan Case, Custom Software w/Voice Interface, MS Access Based Playlists
Car: 1986 Mazda RX-7 Turbo (highly modded), 1978 RX-7 Beater (Dead, parting out), 2001 Honda Insight
"If one more body-kitted, cut-spring-lowered, farty-exhausted Civic revs on me at an intersection, I swear I'm going to get out of my car and cram their ridiculous double-decker aluminium wing firmly up their rump."

I highly suggest not using MaxPC, as all they will do is make fun of the slower proccessors that some of us use.
I used to get their magazine, and canceled it, as all they would take about is the latest greatest games and machines, and make fun of anything out of the ordinary.
The final magazine I got had the whole main article about destroying an old computer, and doing things like drilling the harddrives and stuff.
They were like "Who uses 40gig Harddrives anymore, that thing isn't worth 20$, SO LETS DRILL IT!!" Very annoying and very lame, when I just wanted to read about new computers, comparative articles, etc.

Awhile back in Car Stereo Review there was a car with a homebrew PC for mp3s. While the guy who built it didn't say mp3car.com he did say do a search for mp3 & car on any search engine and you will find all the information you need. That's how I found mp3car.com!!

I have actually heard MP3Car.com mentioned on "The Screensavers" on TechTV. You would think CNet or ZDnet (aka Ziff Davis: puts out tons of tech mags) would have picked something up about us by now.

I don't know how many of you get TechTV but there is a show called "AudioFile" that I love, that is all about digital music. So I figured why not let them know about us, so I sent a little digital mail their way which reads:

Touching on music in the digital age, I have been a member of a group of growing people that crave digital music in our cars. The group at MP3car.com has been helping and supporting the integration of computers into cars for a few years now, from home brewed PC jukeboxes to commercial MP3 products. You would be amazed at the ideas thrown around in the forum, and the dedication we give to each other. I feel that your show and it's viewers would be interested in learning about this large and overlooked digital music bandwagon that "rolls" to the beat of a different drummer.
All in an attempt of getting some well deserved recognition to this board. I hope some of you will do the same.
