    Give Me a Freakin' Break

    http://hardware.slashdot.org/hardwar.../2330239.shtml

"A survey released by an insurance company shows that drivers with in-car navigation systems are more likely to lose concentration than drivers who unfold a map while driving."

How can someone actually publish a report like this? Who seriously believes that a little voice telling you where to turn is more distracting that unfolding a map while you are driving?!?!?

The article says, "Our research shows even satellite navigation equipment, if used incorrectly, can lead to driver danger," said Ian Parker, Privilege's managing director."

No kidding? You should change your name to Sherlock. Almost ANYTHING used incorrectly can lead to danger, ESPECIALLY while driving. For example: If you use a toothbrush incorrectly, it could lead to driver danger.

What a bunch of dumbasses conducting the survey, and bigger dumbasses that were being surveyed.

    They are probably retarded
It's always the same thing, when something new appears..look some documents when the first cars were made. Automobile was a great danger for the humans as reported by some journalists in the beginning of the 20th century btw some stupid laws followed the opinion, opinion directed by journalists. Finally any survey can be oriented in one way this is unfortunately not new that medias are representing a real power.

It's slashdot. What do you expect?
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
