hey p3rv, i'm guessing that you don't have streetdeck. please excuse me if i am wrong in my assumption.

nobody cares what you think of the product if you don't have it. do you write letters to the editor of car and driver about a new mercedes when you haven't driven one? no. all your opinions on this product are based upon other people's comments and a short propaganda video. why don't you leave the comments to those who OWN the product.

next, there is no such thing as free speech. if your goal was to get your opinions heard, your comments have been unfairly deleted. however, get back on the horse. you have have had multiple posts, or opportunities, in this thread to relay your opinions. it seems to me that you just want to cry and complain that they deleted your post.

if you still want your voice heard, you better do it quick. god of cpu, with the help of george w, is tapping your phone lines.

What is your definition of public? That it is out there somewhere and you have access to it? Stores are public but that doesn't mean you can go in one and **** on the floor.
The server that holds the mp3car website sends YOU the information that YOU request from it. The information YOU post on the website is stored on the mp3car server, NOT YOUR server.

Yes, cyberspace/internet is public, but the server is own and operated by mp3car.

Let take a x-rated/hardcore poster, and post it at local public library wall/counter and see what the staffs do to you. Yes, the library is fund by your tax money (so you can say that you partially own the library).

Now say that happens. I get a demo. find bugs. Tell them, maybe help fixing them. Do i get something out of it? Prolly not... so y help? And i'm not being cheap, or an ***. they started all of this... I mean if you know they gonna profit off of it, y add to their profit with your "free" work? Irt's all of us that took this site here. and they just ride the wave of the popularity of the site...

Wouldn't it be fair to allow the common wealth (us) to ride the wave too? Like we could advertise our services and whatnot.,.. but noooo.... were too greedy over here for that...

You really have it wrong.

First of all, if you know you aint getting anything for it, then WHY SHOULD YOU GET ANYTHING FOR IT.

If you want to help with streedeck, then help, if you don't because you want something out of it and aren't getting it, then don't. But, being upset that you are not being compensated for it when you agree NOT to be compensated is childish.

Let me throw an analogy in. You like a certain band, and they continue to invite you to thier concerts. Maybe even in the beginning, since they are playing bars and clubs, you get in free. You listen to thier music, maybe you even mention to someone you like this or ar that song, or this or that about thier music. They end up modifying thier music based on your, and other peoples input, and then they become a big band, really famous, and making gobs of money. Do you think you are entitled to some of thier profit. Heck no. Can you bacsh them for it, well, you could, but if you want to, realize that they will be ****ed and will do what they can to stop you. Do you get my point??

As for Freedom of Speech, that is a right granted by the government, and it only prohibits the GOVERNMENT from infringing on your right to speak freely. I can tell you to shut the hell up if I want, and that is not a violation of your right to free speech because I am not the governmentor an agent of the government. The forum, and the mods and owners, are not the government, and therefor are not prohibited from curtailing your speech, censoring it, deleting it, or telling you to take a hike because of what you said.

Also realize, that you are here as a guest with the owners permission. Besides the fact that you have not paid to enter, which might give you some limited rights, you are here because they have allowed you to be here. This is thier sandbox and you must play by thier rules.

Now, if you don't like the product, then by all means, bust on it. But realize, that if you make the comments in thier sandbox, they can do what they want/ If you don't like it, complain about it in someone elses sandbox. maybe they will allow you do it, or maybe they won't.
