congratulations ...
I'm REALLY excited and just needed to share!
As some of you know, Monte and I compete in Car Audio competitions on a national level with my CarPC and GTi stereo.
We went to World Finals back in October in Kansas City, MO and brought home first place and best of show for our class. First year out competing in the Sound Quality aspect of the competition. Needless to say, we were pretty happy with that.
Focal and Audison have since offered to sponsor us (just recieved a $1k set of 6.5 Beryllium mid-range drivers for free!!!).
While at world finals last year, Ben Oh from Car Audio and Electronics Magazine approached me and wanted to take my picture for their world finals coverage issue. So I got a 1" x 1" picture in the rag. Nothing big, but we were really happy, after all, it's just our first year out to compete really seriously with a system we built 100% in our garage in spare time. The only things we paid to have done was the paint work and the vinyl.
So I get a phone call from Ben last night, he had lost my information and had to call Focal to get that information again. They want to come out and do a photo shoot/story on the car and us! WOW! That alone is very flattering. Makes all the hard work and the effort we put into the car that much more worthwild!
THEN he invites us to attend Trifecta with the car. This is an invite only car show, with the best vehicles in each class being invited to attend SEMA with their vehicles!!! OMG! I don't even know where to begin! I couldn't sleep last night! Now I've got like a million things running through my head about what we need to do to prepare for the upcoming season...
anywho, I am just excited and just wanted to share!![]()

For the system, not much, might switch to the new Audison LRx amplifiers when they make it out in April. And put the mids in kicks...
Other than that, trying to figure out what to do about wheels and some new seats...lol![]()
