    My carpc part of my senior project. The software my team is making is the main part of it. I'm a CS student though.
    AMD XP 2600+/512MB RAM/120GB hard drive
    Opus 150W/DVD/GPS/7" Lilliput TS/802.11g/Bluetooth
    Installed.

    make a power supply, and use a carputer to show it off

    have to fabricate screen mount

    have to start over, lilliput died, 1st laptop broke, have to sell the 2nd one. damn

    thanks guys.. i was thinking the same things but i didnt have the balls to ask one of my advisors about it (dont want them to laugh at me)
    I wish i knew how to do fiberglass work...

    lol.. i had to use the soldering iron to make my own serial connection for the garmin gps, and to solder all the molex connectors for the lcd, and stuff
    I wish i knew how to do fiberglass work...

    Seriously though, you have a good opportunity here. Im sure you can get a lot of support from the board, especially if you have a solid idea for something that we could use. Develop it as your project, then open source it here....
