    Post Sincere apology...

I'm very sorry my test post bothered you so much...

I must say, I'm not new by any means to the internet or newsgroups, but I would have to say that you guys on the MP3Car forums are the most ****y people I've ever seen on a newsrgoup.

I'm having so much fun making my MP3Car system, and I love reading all the posts on this forum and getting ideas for my system, but it seems every time I post something someone has something nasty to say to me. True, I've made a few "mistakes" in my posts, but everyone does, and it really doesn't call to be nasty, simply point out my mistakes and, *gasp* sometimes even help me with what I'm asking anyway! Weird concept I know...

I lurked on this forum for about 2 months before I started posting, and now that I've been posting for not even 2 weeks I think I'm going to go back into the shadows and simply lurk, only posting when I really need some help. I had thought of posting when I make large breakthroughts in assembling my system, and putting a post with links to pictures when I finish everything, but now I'd be afraid to put up such a post, because I'm sure someone would have something rude to say or I'd be breaking some sort of rule of the board...

Congratulations all who have responded rudely to my posts, you've won, you've successfully scared off a new member of the MP3Car community. When I entered it, I thought it was a friendly and welcoming community, but I suppose I was wrong. Not to say that everyone on here are jerks, in fact exactly the contrary, I've had many posative encounters on here.

Anyway, I'm not going to let this get me down or anything, I'm simply going to get back to the point: making my MP3Car. Hopefully others will do the same, and not waste their time being rude and pointing out nitpicky violations of the rules of the board. Good luck to everyone with their MP3Cars (isn't that the point of this board?) and everything else in their life, and I hope I haven't bothered you too much with my completely unacceptable posts, I won't be bothering you anymore. Peace to all.

uhhhh, dude. dont listen to the mp3 kid....

just post when you want to post... this was in the off topic, and it was, i didnt see anything wrong with it. granted it was kind of an odd post, im sure that the admins have tested the system.

but anyway, i love reading posts as well, even if they dont have a direct relationship to what im building. and if im scanning through the topics and i see a post i dont want to read... i dont read it. i dont get all ****y and rip on the guy for posting something i didnt like.

so, to keep this short...uh shorter... just post whatever you wnat to, but make sure it is relevant and under the right topic. hell, i post questions on stuff im not even ready to do yet... dont let people scare you off!!!

    looking forward to more posts...

Well thanks for the encouragement... I still think I'll just lay low for a while, it's not just THEMP3KID who has been rude, I've had it from several others too...

Like I said, I'll psot when I really need help on something, but otherwise... Basically, I'll just not put up frivelous posts, like "hey guess what I did today on my MP3Car!" kind of stuff.

    Cheers!

You don't go to any game forums or you would realize the this place is pretty mild for an Internet forum. Yes some people can get a little ****y but that is life ignore them and go on.

Yeah true you are right for 2 of your 3 posts. This test post which was posted for reasons you only know and the LCD question you had. For someone who has lurked at this place for 2 months I think you would see that people hate answering the same question over and over again. The LCD question is probably the most asked question on here. Some of the user handle it with tack other don't. My advise don't let the assholes win this is the only place I have found that have a lot of information and a lot of very good people.

No go ahead and post about you finish setup. Off Topic is usually where it is done. Yet again for someone who has been lurking for 2 months would see this type of posts. I for one haven't seen one negitive comment made to one of those posts.

Did we win??? For only have 3 posts to your name you certainly do give up easily. This is a friendly place and you say so yourself. So a few jerks make you run away from this place while even the last line I quoted above says "I've had many posative encounters on here" It is your choice to leave here and never come back but I would rethink it and say let us get to know you and your setup.

Man 2 test posts and you are mad. Get a life both times they say TEST POST and when you see them you just have to click on them and read them don't you. You know you don't have to click on every post don't you.

Just for everyone to know you can delete your own posts. Go to the message you want to delete and click on the edit button at the bottom and then you should have an option to delete the message.

I apologize. I was a bit rude in one of your posts and I'll own up to that. So consider me pathetically abased and grovelling

I'm very interested in seeing how your install goes and hope that you will reconsider about doing a vanishing act.

Here's to a future on the board that's better than the past!
