looks clean!! i did projectors on my bike aswell... get rid of the other headlights too and throw in more projectors
I thought you guys might like to see my custom HID lights ive installed on my Trans Am. Ive just recently updated them, so the first few pics are of what they looked like, and then obviously now.
overall it was nice, but i didnt like the silver as much as i thought i would.
I decided i was going to paint them closer to factory, so i got some Krylon fusion paint for plastics. It was black with some flake in it (actually looks pretty good). Heres some after shots. i have just a very minor adjustment to the drivers side to bring it down level with the pass side. Here is V1.2:
ignore the dogs *** in the above pic. hes got really nice timing..
and the best part is, they fold away nicely
The trimmings and paint are not the best quality. I have already noticed a few spots i missed, but im not worried about it. I am currently looing for a bi xenon projector( i already have one) so that i can retrofit bi xenon. when that happens, i plan on going all out, shaving the rectangular light out completley, adding a plastic shield over the projector and really getting the paint perfect. till then, this will do.
So what do you guys think??

Looking good. The black is a hundred times better. Don't like the silver at all.
Sorry but I prefer the silver.... they both look nice tho...

Any ideas for putting a PC in this? :)
Might want to put some protection over them. Don't want any rocks breaking your projectors now, do you?
The silver matched the grills better... But none of that matches the roof. Paint the grills, too.
What did a setup like that set you back?
the roof is glass, tinted (t-tops) not paint. Total amount invested is in the 300 dollar range, but i came by some of the parts for free. the real investment is the time. probably a solid 100-125 hours just in design and construction, not including research and locating the parts i needed.

you probably could sell these to fellow firebird owners @ $5-600 for the set. Mass produce them, and get rich![]()
i thought about it, still thinking about it actually.
