DAMNNN that sucks man sorry!
I moved into the house this weekend. In the process, I happened to break:
1. My ipaq 6315 pocketPC phone, which I have only had since October
2. My desktop. I dunno what's wrong with it yet, but I think I busted the mobo.
3. My TV, which I bought about a year ago.
4. And my bookcase, which I accidentally knocked over when bringing couch cushions in.
I hit the bookcase, which knocked the TV off the TV stand onto my computer, which then fell over and killed my ipaq.
It was like a $3000 domino set. It could not have happened more perfectly if I had purposely set out to do it.
Oh, and my car is starting to make funny smells. Oil and Antifreeze, I think.
Debt as of 1/1/05: $34,354.48
Debt as of July 4, 2007: $0.00 explanation
Total spent on wedding so far: $3885.79
Thanks to everyone for your support.
I'M DEBT FREE!!
DAMNNN that sucks man sorry!
holy ****... that's some string of bad luck.
Let this be of motivation to you.
I'm debt free as of last Friday. Paid back all my personal and credit card loans. I paid back $5200 total in a month and a half. Talk about beans and rice...
I hope everything goes to the better with you.
Cheers![]()
Atleast your debt is less than half that it was on the first of jan 05. You can put in a TV tuner into your computer and not have to get a TV until you can budget for it.
Wizard - your debt number is freaking incredible! I am really impressed with how fast you've gotten it down.
Sorry to hear about the damage, but stay the course and keep your eye on the ball. You've come so far already.

Bummer, dude. Now you have pull with the wife to spend more moola on better things! (that is, if you can scrounge up the cash...)
Oh, your debt number is a little low - better add one, two, or three(?) 100,000$'s to that sucker! (j/k - high-interest debt, i know)
Edit: You should have worked the cards into your mortgage, dude! Mortgage is cheaper than cards...
Edit#2: Refi and work in the extra $3000 for new electronics... Tack a car or two on there, too... (this is getting out of hand, but the credit cards are sound advice)
