has anyone heard from LeythDC5 lately?

but the thing is he supposedly shipped it out friday. and delivery is usually 5-7 business days. should i wait another day or two and see if he actually shipped it in case he hasn't been able to get back to me, or should i do a claim with paypal now since it seems sketchy?

when did you do it? you have 30 days to claim. if you close to the end of the 30 days, claim it right away as in ASAP. if you get the stuff, you can always cancel the claim...

Go file a claim with paypal before it too late.
I never go thru the claiming process. But I am sure that once you file a claim, paypal will contact him. If they can't contact him, you get your money back.

I didnt mean the members , the only people who care on this forum are the members. If the superiors would care more they would implement some sort of sytem.

And its untrue the superiors dont care , they help out a little when it happens , but they wont do anything to help us prevent it.

Ummm whose responsibility is it to research your sellers? The only thing that ties your purchase from the seller is that you met him on this board. They aren't responsible for anything. If you wanted to you should have bought the whole thing from the mp3car.com store. Then they will care.

oh, and what do you want to prevent it. Not even feedback is going to change anything. One guy has 500+ posts and has had plenty of previous transactions with members. If he continues to ignore PMs about one of his transactions then the only thing we can do is ban them.
It isn't like you don't know that you are risking it by buying from the classifieds. No one is forcing you into buying from the forum. This isn't Ebay!

Maybe you guys don't see it but we do everything we can when someone gets scammed.

hey guys thanks for the input. and xBrady thanks for the pm. but guys i do have good news. after i got off the comp, i went to sleep and woke up around 4pm yesterday. i look outside and alas!! what do i see on the porch? a box sitting on the ground. i open it up and it's the carputer i bought from leythdc5!! i didn't wanna say this guy was a scammer cuz i hate implying it. he is NOT a scammer and did come thru like he said he would, altho there was no communication after our transaction a week ago. thanks guys. i feel so relieved and happy.
