Personally, I like the video where they put 2 Mercedes street cars (one economy car and one luxury sedan) up against a formula car. They give the economy car 15 seconds over the big V8 sedan and a 70 second head start over the formula car... just to give the viewer an idea of how fast those things really are.
Old plans out the window because of an accident .

    you mean top gear.

that was an A class and summit like an E-class or Clk and it was a bit silly but cool as it was top gear.

What I meant about the F1 vs Jet is that they never show the whole story. Of course the F1 can be geared to out accelerate the jet, but what happen after 200+ MPH? of course they gonna have to cut the clip

Even a model 1/8th scale car can out accelerate a fast car.

at 200mph the jet takes off dummy! The tyres wont like being run for long distances at over 200mph. They are not deisgned for it and their pressures are too high.

Thats the whole point Im making FATSO, cant compare apple and orange. After they shown that video, all of the sudden you get everyone telling you that the F1 is faster than the jet.

Yeah, I shown the clip to this guy I know, now he goes around telling everyone that his CRX is faster than the NSX.

Now can you please entertain us with your flacid dick, thank you

    Great information Scouse,

Just, I think the difference between a diverter and BOV is that the diverter sends the released gases back into the intake system, to be "reused" by the engine. BOV vent to atmosphere.

The reason a diverter is used is because in most states in America (perhaps other places countries as well) once air makes it past the Air Flow Meter, regulations require it to go through the catalytic converter.

Because the diverter dumps back into the intake system, there is no sound, while the BOV vents to atmosphere and makes the "cool" swish sound.
