Meet in Cincinnati?

Is that date set in stone, or would you guys perhaps be willing to push it back a little into the summer? I may be willing to drive about five hours or so to meet with you guys...I may also be able to convince the better half its a vacation!

I think I have the perfect time and place.
The Dayton Hamvention on May 18th (a saturday).
I am going there with my uncle, and I would love to hang with you guys for a while when I'm there.

My uncle may not like it as much, he's kinda uptight about any car mods. He thinks that if you put a different stereo or anything in your car, that your whole car warranty goes void, your insurance cancels, your dog runs away, and you can be randomly arrested or something like that. Although after he sees some better installs than mine, he may change his mind.

Any friday night at Egdewater race park would be good, no one would notice the noise from a few MP3 players amidst all the race cars. And they have beer. Of course my player is pretty boring: 266/16meg 20 gig hd 128 X32 VFD display running linux. For $15 you can make 4 or 5 runs if you get there about 5 pm.

Hmm, where is edgewater, isn't that in kentucky?
Hmm, perhaps I will take the ol' F-250 for a spin, with that 351 it oughta do the 1/4 in less than 17ish (but the tranny is rather old, and like my S-10, you sometimes have to double-clutch cause the syncronizers are going out.) I gotta be careful though, the trail of Engine oil leaking from it may catch on fire :-)

Hmmm.... Could be interesting! Alot closer than Dayton! I never have timed my car in a 1/4, it may be my chance (not that a '95 Dodge Intrepid would set any records

Yeah, Edgewater sounds ok,
I'll have to talk to the parental Units before I can set a date in stone, but it sounds cool.
I probably wouldn't race my truck, with so many miles and **** on it, I'd be afraid of going to hard on it. I don't know, there is a old back road I know of I might measure off a 1/4 on and find out how big of a dumbass I will make of myself :-)
