Try dong that with 30k+ members, and a few hundred new members each day... plus the people that are on here right now as mods, probably dont et paid for it, so they have to have some sort of life outside the mp3car world...lol... give them a brake...if they hire someone to just police, and nothing else all day, than yeah, your point is valid... Bt i don't see that happening...

The closing of that thread made everyone stop contributing.
    Bull****.
When I re-opened it, the discussion continued like it was never closed. The thread was closed for a few hours in the middle of a weekday. The vast majority of members probably never realized it was ever closed.

Ideally, the mods (myself included) should read every thread in its entirety. That's not practical, though. We all have lives outside mp3car.com to attend to. You think you'd do a better job, then cnvince the powers that be to make you a mod.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

He obviously spent enough time to read it, understood whats going on so why not just delete the inappropriate post? He wouldnt have closed that thread if he didnt have time to read it all.

Sure I understand that they have other life to sort out and its probably just easier to close a thread.

Closing or just deleting a thread wont do any good to the community. Cause I wont like it spending time trying to help members out just to see the thread has been closed because a few minors had ruined it. Dont penalised everyone because of the work of one or two idiots

To be honest I cant be arsed to post more infos about navigon on that thread. I was actually gonna write a tutorial about how to get it working on windows as I see some great interest on it in here, just like what sama did for tomtom. I have it right here, I know what its like and I have experience on it but if the thread is just gonna get closed, whats the point in spending time trying to help others.

Anyway, its been reopened, he realised his mistake and corrected it. You guys can carry on talking about oncourse as much as you want.

At the time I wanted to post more infos its already been closed.

I have been spending my time trying to put material up together to help out the community, what do I see? a closed thread. Its like WTF? after all that work now I cant post what I have because someone ruined the thread.

But hey its ok now really, I know what to expect next time.

Would it be right to punish someone for doing that though?
