The thread's re-opened and the warez posts deleted. Your'e all clear to go forth and make the community better.

I have been spending my time trying to put material up together to help out the community, what do I see? a closed thread. Its like WTF? after all that work now I cant post what I have because someone ruined the thread.
    "ruined"?
Deleting a discussion about illegal software ruined the thread?
That's like saying deleting all Scouse's posts in My Thread would ruin it.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Try reading again, maybe it may read like this the second time round >>>

"someone ruined the thread and therefore it got closed"

Well, then you should do your part to help those the community at large follow the rules set forth by the administration.

There's nothing to stop you from sharing whatever golden nugget of information you have in the thread formerly known as closed or even starting a new thread. That's the beauty of forums like these. If one discussion grinds to a halt (either by the participants or the administration), another one can sprout anew.

Really, Chris, I don't understand your attitude.
Yeah. I acted hastily and shouldn't have simply closed the thread. I made a judgement call that turned out to be the wrong call.
I didn't even come to the realization that I screwed up on my own. I had to have it pointed out to me by another member.
I corrected my error and made a genuine effort to right my wrong.

So why the **** am I being singled out as the ******* here? Because I made an error in judgement?
Committing errors is a human trait. We all screw up, including me. Including you, as well.
So my humanity reared its ugly head. I'm not going to apologize for being human.

I do, however, apologize for acting hastily and closing a thread that shouldn't have been closed in the first place. I have made every effort to rectify the situation. I think I have done that in a reasonable manner and timeframe.

If there's anything else I can do to appease Chris31's inexplicably high standards, please let me know.

Out of all the mods, you and Xbrady have probably been the most fair...

You guys aren't forum nazis, but you have to put your foot down sometimes.

Go ahead and continue doing the good job your doing!

    Peace,

    Rafster

I agree. I thought he acted too quickly, pointed it out, and he fixed it really fast. I think he did a great job, and the post wasn't down for too long.

Keep up the good work DP.
