she had to go to the store and spend over $300 on a new Sidekick. When she put her SIM card in, she saw that the person(s) that had taken the phone had not only signed on to AOL leaving their name and password in the phone, but they had taken pictures of themselves.

How the hell is that possible????
When she bought the new phone, she got a new sim with that phone. Any pics that was taken on the old phone will stay on the old sim card, no? So how the hell do they have pictures and screen names from the old sim card, which they do not have possession to?

I'll calling bull****!!! (unless the phone carrier can get information for the old phone, which I doubt)

You have to read the updates on the site. He says that the sidekick automatically uploads its info to the Tmobile server so when she got her new sim card and sidekick the new one downloaded the stuff from her old one. Or something like that. I still like Paris Hilton's sidekick ordeal better.

Don't know. I have a program on my Verizon phone called Backup Assistant that logs on to my phone every day at noon and checks for new entries in my phone book. It saves all my phone numbers on a database so that if I ever lose my phone I can restore the numbers. So I would think the technology is there but I don't know if its a standard thing that Tmobile does. Where the hell is Raf?? He knows all this stuff.
