Bio - you are absolutely correct.

The intent of the government initially was to stay out at all costs. And they did so quite successfully for quite a few years in all reality.

You are correct, I made a mistake. Both declared war on Japan after Pearl Harbor. Britian decalred war on Germany after it invaded Poland.

Still stands though, US Declared war on Japan after Pearl Harbor, as did Britian.

Yeah, but i was mistaken too, it seems, I was under impression that US was already at war with german at the time of pearl harbor.

Was just because i remembered reading from Kahns "codebreakers" about Britain trying to get US into war (with Germany)... I was under impression it was succesfull... but seems it wasn't afterall.

nope - it was a source of much frustration on both sides. Many felt that america wasn't doing its part to help out, while america was just trying to stay out of it all...funny how times have changed....lol

That is good point... Back then US was really hard to get involved... now... well... we all know...

We use CDMA in Canada, its what Bell Canada runs, lol, and uh, NTT DoCoMo in Japan also uses CDMA, and uh, Virgin Mobile in Canada, so its not just the US!

Yes, as far as i remember there was CDMA operator also in brazil... i thought OP was incorrect too... but since i wasnt sure didnt post before...
