Did we run out to greet him with soda and cake, and answer all his noob questions. Nope. Did we turn him around, kick him in the *** and tell him to get lost, nope. What we did do is talk about a legitimate answer to a growing problem, the one of noobs asking basic questions.

A very standard answer, that did not give the guy the information you think he deserved.

See, that is all I was advocating. I just would have added a link to the MP3Car to try and get some business out of it.

You may have signed up earlier but have you spent as mush time on the forums, i very much doubt it.

While you and red may not have directly bashed the newbie you did bash newbies in general and as a newbie he then got bashed directly. Do you not see that? You comments where typical of the wide spread problem and summed up many threads worth of abuse.

I am not sure, I don't keep a clock next to the computer, but probably not. I also don't have 10,000 useless posts. That doesn't prove anything except that Scouse has more time on his hands then I do.

I did not bash anyone. You keep saying it, and I keep disagreeing. The fact that I believe there should be a standard answer for noob simple questions is not bashing.

Bashing is name calling, putting down etc.....not making suggestions for a solution to a problem anymore then you are bashing me and red for saying that scouse should be back on the boards.
