    MS Outlook problem

I'm messing around with MS outlook <puts on flame suite>.
Never messed with it before. I put in my email address, tested it and all checks ok. I can send emails too. (verified that)
When I do a Send/Recieve, I don't see my new emails. Not in the inbox, or anywhere.
    Any ideas please?

What do the details of the send/receive show? Make sure that the email account you setup is on the list of accounts to check when send/receive is clicked. Does it send mail? Try sending an email to yourself, that is how I always test my account. Also, check with your email provider, they usually have a faq on how to setup outlook for their email system. Hope it helps, give some more details if you need more help...

are you sure your incoming ports are correct?

where is your email account with?

if it's gmail or the like, have you enabled pop support?

    I got it.
My login had to be richard@*****.com, not just "richard"

EDIT: I am getting double emails. I've heard about that. Anybody know how to fix that?
    Yeah, I'll go searching now

EDIT AGAIN: OK, fixed that too. (sorry, not sure how)

One more question, how do I set it up to check mail every 15 minutes?

    To setup 15 minute check...

    Click on Tools
    Go to Options
    Go to Mail Setup tab
    Click Send/Receive button
Check the box that says "Schedule an automatic send/receive every "15" minutes (the 15 is what you set in the dropdown menu)
    Click Close at the bottom
Click OK on the options windows to close it.

Now, wait 15 mins and be amazed!!!
