Sucks, but it is true. Most (If not all) dealerships have a sign posted that removes "the dealership" from responsibility. Whenever I leave my car at the dealership I remove any that I don't want stolen. Check your auto insurance, it might cover your losses. Whatever isn't covered by that maybe covered under your renters/home insurance.

..... but, here is the kicker, they were stolen at the dealership
i took my car in for service (to have the alt. looked at cause it is still under warrantee)... they kept the car overnight, and returned it to me missing my new head unit (minus the faceplate which i carry with me in poor hopes of detering theft
(who knew that they would steal the thing without the faceplate) screen, and one equalizer) it was really funny when they drove my car out to me with the big gaping hole, handed me the keys and walked away as if i would not notice i am missing a stereo... the dealership then proceeded to try feeding me crap about them not being responsible... at which point a did a fair amount of yelling, so now the police reports are in and i shall see how it goes from there.......
