Thumbs up Pencil + 120VAC + Spare Time = THE COOLEST THING EVER

I take no responsiblilies what-so-ever for your actions.

Ok, not that i have ever tried this ***WINK WINK***

But i found that if you take an extention cord, cut off the end, and solder on aligator clips, then take a #2 pencil and sharpen both ends, clip the leads one on each end, stand back, and plug it in...

IT shoots 3ft flames out the sides of the pensil and ends in a flashing boom of light.

No JOKE! This is SO COOL!

Just be careful, and make sure the plug is out when you connect the pencil

For a lighting effect without the flames, expose all the lead

Perhaps it would be safer and far cooler to use a few capacitors and a transformer in order to use DC current?
Also, you then could put the switch to the transfmer far away, as to not smoke your ***

Try it with a microwave or neon sign transformer providing the current...This is of course highly dangerous, and if you kill yourself, burn down your house or brainwash your sister, it's not my fault.

LOL, yea the AC seems to work fine, i built a controler box, that has to be armed and the ignition held before current is sent. (much like the yellow boxes from model rocket kits only pumping out 120V)
