Slow down. People swerving in and out of lanes cause accidents. If you are late for something, too bad. Leave earlier next time. I don't know about Canada, but in the US driving is a Privledge, not a right. If you get upset when someone doing the posted speed "slows" you down, then quite simply don't drive. Walk, ride a bike or use public transit. You don't own the road, and you have no right to ***** at or about other drivers for obeying the law.
I am not trying to direct anger or hostility toward you directly, just kind of took your post to heart. My 3yr old nephew was killed by a speeding driver.

except for the nephew part. sorry to hear about that.

I've been on my bike many a time and had new drivers (teens) thinking they know how to drive go speeding around, cutting in and out of traffic....if only they had the brain power to understand that they are causing more traffic by causing people to freak out around them.

So what amount of time would you save around town...10 minutes? it's SOOOOOOOO worth it!!!!

    NOT!

hahahah - they don't even begin to TOUCH the problem.

They prevent the people who wouldnt be doing something illegal in the first place, from doing anything illegal.

I have a Pa System actually in my car (illegal) and sometimes use that to yell at people (very rarely) or tell them sorry or something.
I had very close accidents and warned them using flashing of the beams or the crappy Honda/toyota horns. I think it's safe since those horns are so girly and the beams are only to warn. Be careful on who you **** off
About legality -I am not sure if they are legal or not but i think they are. you can install them on your car in case your horn is dangerously weak (meaning, for example, if a semi is crossing into your lane and he cant hear you honking). This is a safety product to be used to ensure that other cars hear your horns in case of danger. many cops have seen my horns and have not said a thing - but that's just visually seeing my horns. they have not heard them so i dont know what they're thinhking.

I'm not like randomly honking at whoever I want - i only use my horns @ people who do stupid **** - stop in the middle of the road for no reason, double park next to open spots, go 40mph in the fast lane of a highway, i even had one dude stop at a stop sign and he stayed there without moving for a solid 30 seconds or so... you bet his *** got blasted by my horns.

im not a mean person and didnt install the horns for any mischevious activity, they're to let people know they're ******* up on my time and that's a no no.

I was on a single lane road this past weekend and some ****** that had parked on the right side BLINDLY OPENS HIS DOOR COMPLETELY OPEN! If I had stayed the same direction I was going, i would have hit him and his door. I slammed on the brakes and held my horns for a good 10-15 seconds (i was maybe 20 feet from the guy)... he jumped when he heard the horns and got back in his car and closed the door!!!

it's reasons like this why i installed the horns. not to be a prick or to bully people on the road but i honk when someone does something stupid/wrong - case in point.

Don't you think that normal horns would have served the exact same purpose?

It's like the harley davidson guys that claim that loud pipes save lives because people hear them. It's just simply not the case.

Like the people that STOP COMPLETELY on an on-ramp of a highway... then when they see a car slowing down, they still dont move but when the car is almost next to them they gun it.... i can't stand that ****... i am always in the middle of left lanes as a result - whoever doesn't know how to drive and is shy can **** around in the right lane/on-ramp as much as they want. I call that offensive driving. I am on the defense always. i used to not mind when people did that but it's so dangerous at 60mph or more - you can't ignore someone ALMOST hitting you when go out...
