    Yup....

I guess that's why all major GSM carriers in the US don't really sell Siemens phones...

Well I am getting out of this discussion...talking with Americans about cell phones is like talking about TV with Aborigines.

    1. Siemens, or Benq Siemens now is big in Europe (ever heard of UMTS?). I just used Siemens as an example to let you know that firmware updates "over the air" or usb data cable is really old stuff. About 5yrs, the S45 was the first cell phone that could do it imho and it was released in 2001 if I am right.

    2. Well all major gsm carriers sell motorolas like crazy...sign of their quality right? And I don't have to tell you that Nokia has different models for the us market (with some exeptions). Cellphonewise the US is in the stoneage...so common
    Asus MicroATX with GeFore 6100, Mobile Sempron 3300+, 1Gig Ram, 320GB 3.5" 7200UPM HDD, M2-ATX, Gain/Xenarc 7"

I only wish I could get my phones directly from Japan.

When I came to this country from Europe 5 years ago, I actually had to downgrade from two Nokia 5- & 8- series to a 5- and a 6- series (for AT&T). Followed by two worse Ericssons and a Startec-like LG (for Verizon) a year later.

I don't know much about Siemens (so I'm not gonna talk ****), but I do know one thing:
    • "The German company Siemens was incorporated in the singular form until 1961 when they started to internationalize and realized the phonetic meaning of the name in English."
For Sale: Carputer (CarPC) & RCA Y-Adapter
Newsflash: Take a look at my unsold stuff above, thanks!
Up Next: Make an OBD to Serial cable & Redo the "MMI buttons"

Well motorola cant make good phones , thats a fact , usualy about 3 weeks after you buy one it breaks. The phone itself usualy freezes when you go from menu to menu etc.. I pull this information from personal experience with about 5-6 motorola phones.

Ehm that can't be true cause the guy who founded it was named Werner von Siemens. So it has always been Siemens.
