Anybody familiar with FT Lauderdale Int Airport?

OK well i am going down to visit one of my boys that lives in Miami Beach. But I am flying in to Ft Lauderdale Int Airport! I was wondering if there are any buses at the airport that travel to Downtown miami?? My flight gets in at 10:15pm but my boy doesnt get out till 12am. By the time he gets to the airport to pick me up it will be 1. SO i wanna just take a bus to downtown miami and meet him where he works! I dont feel like taking a cab cuz it is 30miles away and a 45 minute trip. It would wind up costing me like $75. Any ifo greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure, but I think there should be some sort of airport shuttle at least...

I'm 99% sure there is something like thise, but I cant say I remember exactly...

Take a look at the FLL airport website, they might have some info, or give them a call

It is so hard to get some sort of info on the websites... they are designed horribly!

Oh well, you can try calling the customer services and asking about ground transportation...

Hmmm.. just for kicks, after I read your comment I thought "hmm... I dont see why the airports should be labeled as having bad websites... let me see for myself"...

So I went on google and typed: "FLL airport"(no quotes), and it gave me: http://www.co.broward.fl.us/airport/welcome.htm

Go on there, then I look at the left-bar, and I see Parking & TRANSPORTATION... (wow, so far very easy and very well designed).... Go on that, then on transporttion again, then Public Transportation...

then it says that there is BCT and TriRail services... I went on TriRail website (conveniently linked) and went to "Destinations" now just see if there is something close to you,and if you need to do any transfer or something...

Anyways, not trying to be an ***, but the information was readily accessible and you surely could have spared yourselgf the trouble of asking here and found out by yourself in oh...2 minutes?...

    Cheers

So you did find it on the website

    Congrats!

Anyways, the advantage of calling customer service there, is theat they can probably tell you which companies operate the shuttle services... they might even give you their fone numbers, and you can call the shuttle service and see what times they have and whay theyd charge...

    good luck
