did i get screwed by Hark?

Looks like I did. I purchased his UIRT for about $33 shipped. UPS says it shipped but i never received it. I never signed for it and I guess it could have been picked up outside my door by a passer by in my complex. It happened before with digitalWW. Anyways, I responded that i never got it. He started the UPS process. UPS came and i signed a document which then requires Hark to take it from there. I let him know via IM on this site. No response. Sent another note. No response. Now im over 45 days with paypal and I cant file the dispute.

Good thing it was only $33 shipped but if Hark ever comes back to the forum, be really cautious!

and yup, got a shipping number. Never received the item. Checked the shipping status and it said delivered. I wonder who it was delivered to??

You should be able to ask them who signed for it.. it could be somebody you know.

No one signed for it. UPS jut left it at my door as the value was less than $100. I live in a condo building and work late. Chances of someone walking by and snagging the package is high. We get people who walk through pushing menus under the door every other day. Tough to control i guess

Since UPS insures all packages for up to $100, there is no need to sign. Hark started the process to get reimbursed and UPS came to my house with documents I had to sig. I signed the docs and now its up to Hark to get the money back and reimburse me. UPS will not give me any other info as its private to the sender only.

Thats bad!

Here in the UK if its by courier or by local postal services you need to sign for it whether its worth 50p or £500.. makes no difference.
