CCW?
"Please step out of the vehicle, sir"
I got this lovely phrase when I went to have my truck emission tested earlier this week. I was in line after about 20 cars, and no one else had left their cars, and I had never been asked to do this before.
I thought it was about the computer (which I had turned off), but then realized that the guy asked me to get out of the car before he could have seen the screen.
I asked the guy why, and (WHEW!) the EPA now includes OBD-II diagnostics as part of emission tests on cars manufactured after 1996.
talk about a heart attack. I was also CCW at the time, without my license to.
