i used to frequent there alot back when i was writing alot of websites for different people. i used to love that site. now i work tooo much to do alot of side jobs, so i havent been there. and yeah they had some flame wars there too if i remember.

I just noticed that one of the banned parties is not from the good ol' U S of A. Hmm maybe rather than a ban, if he/she had said something in appropriate, maybe a crash course in culture might have been a better idea?
I dont think that was the problem.
My impression was that they are deliberately trying to annoy the mods, red and DP.
After all that was this thread was all about, it was DPs idea. The price was apparently "a ban"

so here it is
comments were made by a few parties if this is the case rather than the person who was "attacked" coming here and taking things further then they should have been. that "person" with "moderator" status should have just held thier tongue as a "moderator" and closed the thread.
put it this way theres a problem to be dealt with so heres a analogy
you get a papercut on your finger. you go looking for a bandaid and you find the medicine cabinet but its locked. your a "mod" so you have the key to the cabinet but instead of just getting the bandaid you decide to hit the medicine cabinet even tho you have a key. a coworker looks at you and decides that its ok to hit the medicine cabinet now cause he saw the "mod" do it. so the next time the coworker gets a papercut he will hit the medicine cabinet too

Entrapment.
I'm sure that wasn't the intentions of DP when he moved this part of another thread to OT. DP has an odd sense of humor, which I kinda like.
But yeah, I can see how this got out of hand pretty fast.
Plus, I already won the mod bash, I even got a prize. But then Zip took away my prize, now I'm naked and prize-less.(no more rep)
