But that's the thing. I do pay my tickets. I haven't driven like an idiot in almost 3 years now. The last 4 years of my suspension are the result of me getting caught 5 days early, not anything unsafe I did. Just doesn't seem right.

dude, you had your license suspended, that means NO DRIVING

you got caught before you suspension was over, that means, you're in the wrong, i doubt any judge in the world would side with you, since you were so obviously driving illegally

in the eyes of the law, 3 months, 5 days, 5 minutes, they dont care, you were driving illegally, it doesnt matter how safe you are, how slow you go, how short distance you go, you drove illegally, so to say your the victim?

    i dont think so

Dude, think about it this way...

If you were ever grounded by your parents for the weekend and you snuck out anyways, didn't you get into more trouble when you were caught?

It's the exact same thing... Even if you weren't driving wrong or whatever, you were still driving ILLEGALLY!!!!!!! They have every right to lengthen the punnishment.

You have to understand... you do the crime, you do the time...!

    END OF DISCUSSION!!!

    Peace,

    Rafster

I'm not complaining that I got busted. I'm bummed, but I already knew I was wrong. I was just hoping that someone might know something I don't that might help me out...

And getting grounded by my parents didn't keep me from getting to school and work, and If I snuck out on when I was grounded for a week, they didn't tack on a year.

You think it is everyone elses fault, the guy who was driving slow and then wouldn't let you pass, the cops for continuing to pull you over. But in reality, YOU SHOULD NOT BE ON THE DAMN ROAD. You get pulled over because you continually break the law, or have unbelievable bad luck, and I doubt that. You get pulled over because you STILL do stupid ****.

Now, stop whining, take the suspension like a man, and stay off the road. Let me guess, you have no license, so you have no insurance. What if you have an accident and hurt someone, or destroy thier car. You have just screwed them, and because you think you know better, or you have reason you MUST drive.

Get over it, you messed up, and now you continue to mess up, and you deserve everything you get. IN NYC, you get caught driving while suspended, you go to jail, plain and simple. If you can't follow the rules, that is where you belong.

Driving is a privilage, not a right. You need to get to work, move closer, or find a job close by. Your mom needs to get to the doctor, get am ambulette or taxi. Stop making excuses, cause that is all they are, the excuses and whining of a punk who still hasn't grown up to accept responsibility for his actions.

get one of those job thingys so you can go to work. Have your g/f, wife whatever take you everywhere else. No more road head for you. You should have asked what to do on your first one. Ive had em and they suck. Better get some friends that like driving your *** around or find something else to do. There is always the off topic here.
