Roadie vs. UltraSound

I'm just amazed at the size difference between the best early 90's soundcard: the gravis ultrasound max (with memory upgrade

) and the current best laptop/carpc soundcard: the turtle beach roadie (from recent research on these forums).

I've got a few of those long ISA monsters. Also, I have a rare videocard that has a build in modem. The company started with an M but I can't recall its name

No doubt that technology has come a long way

LOL i have a few ISAs myself (some BRAND NEW AND STILL IN THE BOX!!). wait till you compare that sucker to the soundcard in my x50 PPC (its hardware). Hell, the PPC is smaller than the ISA...lol. We've reall come a long way where an entire computer is smaller than a component of its ancestor!
