    If I were to buy one, I think I'd buy that one. If that is truly a standard PCMCIA card in a case, talk about versatility. How much is it?

    Sorry to revive an old topic, but WizardPC, did you try taking the PCMCIA card out of the station and using it in a laptop? I only ask because I wouldn't be surprised if they neutered it just so that users couldn't do that.

    Also, I found a $35 802.11b PCMCIA US Robotics card here. Their old modems used to be the best you can buy, but haven't heard anything about their WIFI stuff.

    I havent tried it yet, but I came across some articles that indicated that the card would work.

    But, alas, the USB version DOES NOT work with netstumbler.
