The German police had mobile speed cameras and if you speeded (or even tailgated) you got the picture sent to your home, wire transfered the money, and that's it.
Here in the USA it is just crazy with the police. I see 3-4 cop cars on a 15min ride to the grocery store. I got my first ticket for something I absolutely did not do(should have went to court), my second justified (did not ***** a second), and the third time I got pulled over and the cop said "I got you going 81miles (then he sees that I have a radar detector, which of course did not go off)....at least that's what I reckoned since my whole car was shaking when you were driving by" and he gave me a warning. And then this warning today, 2years after the last one.
A couple of weeks ago the sheriffs department knocked on our apartment door at six in the morning, we opened the door and they went straight into the living room (talking about searches), because somebody went missing that night.
None of the cops ever treated me like a human being, they were all complete dicks, no matter what I did or didn't do, even if they just asked for information, or even if I just asked them for directions!!!!
I remember them braking up a party in high school and taking all our ids. **** if somebody in Germany called the cops because our party was too loud the cops would call us and tell us to turn the music down, worked every single time, no 6 police cars necessary to bust the place like here.
It just seems like there are way too many cops here, so many that they need to make stuff up, **** people over (or try to), just so they have work. Don't know if I can get a point out of that at this late hour....but maybe just this...In Germany when I see cops it gives me a sense of security, I know I am safe and nothing is gonna happen...when I see cops here it makes my heart race cause I am afraid they are gonna try to **** me over again....
