    password protect

    How many of yall password protect the login screen when ur computer boots up??

    I came across this question because mine isnt password-protected and i was thinking what if someone stole my computer. They would have some information, well only thing really is myspace login....

    Any thoughts on this??

    I have a ever so nice boot CD that kills Windows XP passwords, works
    realy good

    use some thing else to protect your stuff

    BTW - I have a password, but also have my computer set to auto login,
    but all my good stuff is encrypted - I use True crypt

    Although if they have stolen it and have access to a keyboard then it won't help much.

    I've got my computer password protected. Its a Fedora Core 5 machine.

    If you're talking about my carputer, then no its not password protected.
