I vote for USPS, I think they're cheap, convenient, fast and they supply lot sof nice Priority Mail boxes, plus you can pay right out of PayPal with no fuss.

For the right items the flat rate boxes are an amazing deal, same with media mail if you're shipping books. I think the biggest plus (for me) is paying from PayPal.

Their tracking sucks but it seems it may be improving, I love FedEx and USP tracking but you pay for it of course.

USPS is underrated for small packages. No surcharges for residential delivery, quick shipping (Priority and 1st class both travel by airplane.)

USPS is cheap, like Zip said. However, I really dislike their tracking...or should I say I dislike their lack of tracking...lol

FedEx has always delivered late where ever I have lived for some reason.

And I might add that I despise DHL. After running over my husbands motorcycle because he didn't check behind him as he pulled into the parking spot, then running, then coming back after the guilt got to him, then the way the manager of the local location treated the situation...I'll never ship anything through them and if I can help it, I'll never have anything shiped to me through them.

Yeah, they paid the bill, $4500 worth.

I worked for UPS for 4 years......and after the things I personally saw/did(or was told to do), I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use ups again. wouldn't advise it to anyone else either........Especially if your shipment will travel westbound through the chicago hub. I work in LA, and every night we would get at least one trailer from the chicago hub that had been totally ransacked. management never did anything noticible to stop it, cause it never stopped.

I'm pretty sure it happens with all of them. They all do so much volume that I'm sure it's hard to keep it sane.

I totally agree DHL suck big time.
I have a bicycle shipped to me from amazon with 2nd day ship. The bicycle get to their warehouse in 2 days as it should, but I didn't get the bicycle for a week later. They kept it in the warehouse for god knows what reason. I understand they keep it for a day or 2 if my house is 30 or so miles away. No, it's only 5 miles away and they use Rent-a-Truck to deliver the package instead of regular DHL truck. Some spokes on the bike broke, big ding on the lower frame, punture thru the seat.
I return the bike and amazon send out another one also with DHL by next day delivery. I got the bike next afternoon after amazon said it had ship. The 2nd bike also get a punture thru the seat in almost the same way as the first bike. Complain to amazon regarding to exchange for another bike or discount on next purchase. They offered me to either exchange for a new bike or 25% off on the bike price if I keep it. I keep the bike and buy a much better seat for 1/2 price of the return discount money.

One other big plus for me is that you usually know what time the mailman will show up so waiting for a USPS package tends to be much easier than waiting for FedEx or UPS. I kno wmy mailman comes at 11:00AM +/- 15 minutes, FedEx can show up any time between 8am and 6pm.

USPS ALL THEY WAY. I AM A NIGHT OWL SO I CAN NOT GO TO THERE OFFICES.
I SIGNED UP FOR AN ONLINE STAMP PROGRAM AND JUST GO TO USPS.COM WHEN I NEED THE PACKAGES PICKED UP.

ALSO THE CLOSEST FEDEX AND UPS STORES ARE 40 MILES AWAY.

DONT GET ME STARTED ON DHL.

NOT TO MENTION 2 OUT OF 3 BOXES I GET FROM UPS ARE DAMAGED
