    Job interview??

If you guys went on a job interview that the interviewer asked you this question how would you respond?

If there was one small thing that you could change about yourself, what would it be? Why

It's all about being able to identify your personal shortcomings and do something about it. IT can also reveal character that may or may not influence an employer.

For example... If you were going to hire someone, think about how a potential employee answers the question:

Employee #1: "I would change my financial situation."

Employee #2: "I would change my educational situation."

Your'e going to form an opinion about the employee based on the answer to the question. Those opinions may or may not be accurate. They may be stereotypes or biased or whatever. They would still exist, right or wrong, good or bad.
Now, in all reality, the answer to the question may or may not have any bearing on the outcome of the interview. However, the deeper implications of the question could form an opintion that could be valuable or detrimental further down the road.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

I find that anything like that, is trying to see how self critical you are, how much attention you pay and what you consider to be postive and negative.

I would answer that with soemthing that is both positive and negative. Like: I often take my time with tasks so that I can do them well, but this has worked against me in the past...

I wouldn't say that in a financial institution though, where time is money and being able to prioritise is top-cat, but you get my drift.
