guys, i think you're missing the point here. Yeah, he bought the car, it had more winning feature than poor features, but you're allowed to freakin gripe about the things you dont' liek about things. Obviously he thinks its something of serious lacking. ITs like the G20 by infiniti. Amazing car, no cup holders. WTH? are you going to say its my fault for perpetuating the tolerance on no cupholders by Inifiniti through the G20's ENTIRE lifespan by buying one if i gripe about it? C'mon peoples, you're mods. You've seen enough posts to understnad when a person is just venting or nitpicking. All in all, i for one know i'm putting a carputer in my next car. I told my friend, to not even care if the stereo system is working, its coming out in less than a week. .

Nope i got the BEST model the 07 EX-L coupe with V6 and 6 cd cnhanger..they told me it would do Mp3's..got home..no..it does not ..NO mp3's.. it is very sad..
Its one of the MAIN reasons i built a carPC so fast for a new car.

also to this Again, f you have an issue w/ the stereo in the Accord that you bought. You could very easily have taken steps to provide yourself with an audio system that you'd be happy with, but you did not.
    That's not Alpine's fault. That's not Honda's fault. That's your fault.

The headunit houses my dual a/c controls so i cannot just remove it and use an aftermarket headunit.
but i am happy now.. i have 40,000 mp3's and 50gb of movies at my fingertips and all my steering wheel controls still work like factory..

Must be a strange feeling getting offended every morning you get into your car and put your radio on.

How does it feel really? Must be really difficult for you to live with your offending purchase for a few years.

I have a solution for ya, donate it, make someone happy as well as making yourself happy

Yeah, i think for 20+ grands a car needs an mp3 player as standard feature, and what john05srt4 said, the dash in accords are so screwd up that it's hard to find am aftermarket bezel that fits a double din or single din stereo. My dad has an accord too, an 2005, the overall aspect it's nice, he put 40.000 miles on it, and so far no problems. But c'mon honda builds a premium flagship sedan, and mp3 are not considered standard? wtf? it's like buying a premium computer, best hardware inside, and only floppy-no cd-rom. because this is optional (on a premium computer it's not optional, it's standard).

You guys don't watch enough Top Gear. Honda's are for old people.
Old people don't need Cd-RW capability. They need enough bootspace to fit their collapsable walking frame and lawn bowls.

I've recently bougth a new Subaru (soo-ba-roo, not soo-bar-oo for you bloody yanks) Impreza Hatch. It plays some Cd-r's but not others and is not mp3 compatible . When the carpc goes in, it won't be an issue, but still.

what in the hell? This is my favorite post today.

Where's my walkin frame? I had to trade my impreza in so I could fit a gigantor car seat in the back without having to touch the steering wheel with my chin. Still loved that car though.

Besides the Integra, _no one_ under 40 drives a Honda here in Australia.

I do agree with you about interior room in the impreza. Where the hell is it all?
My girlfriends new Suzuki Swift has more interior room than my Impreza, although I actually have a boot. Not storage space for a briefcase like the Swift

I disagree with the "Honda's are for old people" at least in Canada/US. In the states, old people drive Ford Crown Victorias and Mercury's of anykind. Hondas are usually either ricers, or fuel conscious people cars. Not fast like a Subaru, not AWD, but half the price and 2-3 times the miles per gallon. I like my honda, and I know a minivan can beat me in a race. But my honda doesn't break, and I can go 420-460 miles on 1 tank of gas with the PC on.

Couldn't agree with you more. Honda's like Toyota's have probably the best reliability reputation of all makes available in Australia. Subaru also have a great name for reliabilty and value for money, but over here Subaru isn't really a major player in the car market with around 4% market share of new vehicles.

I don't know what it's like in the US, but a base model Subaru Impreza sedan, is only $2000.00 more than a base model civic, whereas a WRX is $7000.00 cheaper than a top of the line Accord.

Anyway, my original comment was in jest and shouldn't be taken personally by those with a Honda. Honda owners can relax, knowing that atleast Honda make great outboard motors :P

    $15,605 - Civic
    $18,620 - Impreza

    $23,145 - Accord
    $34,120 - WRX

Prices are similar for the base models but for the higher models there is a price gap! My first car was a subaru, and I loved it but it rusted through and I had to put too much into repairs for it. $900 car with $3500 repairs.
