I searched google as well as the forums, but couldn't find anything that gave me any answers. So any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

While getting available frame sizes for my webcam, i found that there are five different sizes available, 4 of which have duplicate sizes, differentiated by RGB24 and 1420. For example, 1420(320x240) and RGB24(320x240). Anyone know what the real difference is in these? Would using one rather than the other benefit in compression?
