    Isn't their onstar system good? Or is that just commercial hype.

    Onstar is good for what it does.
    But it's a proprietary system.

    And not to mention the mothly/yearly fee too.

    OnStar would have been the best thing ever like 10 years ago. Now people have cell phones... And car chargers for cell phones! I see no point to it anymore. Although the sending emails about the car's health is pretty nifty.

    Indeed, but for a stock vehicle to have it, that is nifty. It definately doesn't pursuade me to sink my money down a money pit called american cars though...
