    Code:

    Exception
Exception Message: Unable to open the system message bus.

    1.350: pluginLoadingComplete(,,)
    doh

interesting.. that was just a first log generation.
after setting the username and password stuff and actually opening the wifi manager.. the log reverts to looking like the old one.

also it looks like if I remove the "music" button, I don't see the crash error message on the next start of the FE.
but the music button comes back, and still lacks functionality.

    Code:
    2.400: backgroundOperationStatus(Media CRASHED!,,)
    2.402: backgroundOperationStatus(NewMedia CRASHED!,,)
Looks to be the only errors listed now

whats wrong with your system message bus? this is still ubuntu 10.04?

are there any DLLNotFound exceptions popping up in the console when you run the app...it looks like mono is still having trouble getting omlinplayer working (which takes down the media skins).

    still 10.04 yes

I might be confused by what you mean by "in the console" but if I run from the terminal (mono "Open Mobile.exe") no, I don't get any errors.
