The image null bug was already fixed (it now defaults to drawing a black square until an image is chosen)- I guess I just forgot to include it in the version I posted. i'll try to get a 0.1.5 posted with a few more controls and that issue fixed just gotta finish up what I was working on so that its stable.

See if this is any better....

Good suggestion - it may take a bit to figure out snapping to other controls though....when rendering there really aren't controls as much as lines and textures so i'll have to try a few things to see what works best.

I'll see if I can locate any other bugs. As for docking to controls. Could you just use the rectangular coordinates as the defining edge? Like the box that is around the control when you Alt+click?

Well yea and thats the current method....the problem is that when dragging every mouse move it needs to calculate edges, distance to them and decide if snapping is necessary. That could be several times a second and would be pretty slow. I have to think of a better way to do this - maybe pre-calculation and then just check the four bounds.

One other note on the list that was present in that demo. It features Dual Scrolling - which means that click and drag of the right half of the box results in inertial scrolling (more you drag, faster it goes) while clicking and dragging the left half results in a jump in list feature (im calling it alpha scrolling). This feature displays a single letter in the list box that scrolls as you move up and down. When you hit the letter you want you release the mouse button and it jumps to that part of the list.

These two together should make scrolling through even large music collections far easier.

May be a bug... but resizing the list to a height of 300 and width 250, it seems that clicking on the different values will select the one below rather than what you clicked on. It must have something to do with the resizing.

Good catch...haven't completely finished with the listbox yet but this should be better.
