Cant seem to reproduce.....
But that was a quick release not really a tested and stable version so if it still happens in the next release well mark it as a bug and work through it.
well i installed the newest available version and it loads quick. I can load a song and play it but the app crashes after about 5 seconds of playing. Music continues but openmobile.exe freezes up.
Tested on:
Asus M3A-T
AMD phenom 2.6 ghz quad core
8Gb Ram
Vista x64
Build Things, it keeps your brain busy.
AutoPC v1 (Retired) - AutoPC v2 (in progress) - www.shocknet.us

New Skin Designer is finished....this is a nice quick and easy way to create skin files for any plugins using serialization. It should be simple enough to just figure out on your own so I wont post any instructions but if there are any problems let me know.
Some cool bits:
* It uses the framework for the controls so as the framework changes just drag and drop it and the skin designer can use them.
* Optimized the renderer as a skin designer so it should be faster then the app itself.

I don't suppose there's an easy way to download the source, is there? It looks like they just have all the files separate on sourceforge...
Yea the link right at the bottom that says "Download GNU tarball"
But heres a direct link-should always work for the latest version:

Okay, so i am always thinking outside of the box, and i might be getting way ahead of myself here, but I do remember you saying that you would like to see this software not only used in cars, but in other applications as well.
Well I just hooked my laptop up to my 32" Vizio TV, and I ran the software in its current state, and I must say, that I love it sooooo much. I will be for sure making a home theater skin for this software. the fact that it runs so fast, makes it awesome. and using the high def graphics that I create, will make it look even better.
cant wait as this project matures.
what is next on my plate? what graphics do you need?
I never would have thought of using it for that (personally I use windows Media center with some plugins i've helped develop) but cool idea.
I think i'm still waiting on the clicked images for the media buttons...oh and a pause button for the media buttons...but other then that nothing I can think of.

What media formats does the latest version support? When I select a song to play, it starts playing and then crashes, but the song continues playing sometimes. The songs are wma format.
Finally figured it out.... Theres a dll used by the player to retrieve the media tags (mediainfo.dll) which I guess I forgot to bundle with the download. If you install http://downloads.sourceforge.net/med...ndows_i386.exe does that fix the crashing?
