    sounds like the easiest way to import new images from a skinners point of view, but really whatever is best for performance and operability should be used.

    Well performance-wise that may actually work out really well now that I think about it. I think it would just be a dropdown showing all images available in the skin. Then there would be a manage images button that lets you load or unload images. When you load an image its copied over to the skins folder, when you unload it, its removed from the skins folder.

    This would also work pretty well on execution since there would be an image store in memory that holds any images needed for the current panel and the list can be dynamically loaded/unloaded for minimal disk access and nice rendering performance.
