are there seriously no web developers willing to offer their time?
if no one else steps forward, i can offer some graphics
Looking for any web developer that can help design a basic website for the project.
Two parts (but even just the first ones a good start):
1. Just a nice simple home page to tie together the wiki, bug tracker and a few screenshots.
2. A plugin downloads page. This would allow users to browse and download available plugins. It should also have a queued upload system.

Ugh, I hate doing web-dev and I am terrible at making things look pretty in any way shape or form. I will put the word out tho, I might know some people who could help.

I see you've got a site cobbled together now, If you want some help making it all fit together nicely (looks like it could do with a few styling tweaks at least). I'd be happy to help when I have the time, which isn't always that often these days, although this weekend is looking pretty free.
What kind of site do want? You can't really put a need for web dev and not say what you need. A wiki? a blog or just pretty, one page basic contact site.
btw, google sites is really awesome, you can make it look very cool. Not to mention all of the google gadgets ready to be plugged in.
Read the entire first post not just the title...
Sorry I missed your post...thats a great offer. I've been re-learning css and php with all the tweaking and I think its finally starting to look somewhat integrated but an experts help/advice would certainly be great.
I think most of the tough scripting is done just need to do some style cleanup to make it all look good. I also have two small projects that could be added if your up for it (and if not i'll probably tackle them when I get time):
1. I'm hoping to bring the VIN database from the openOBD project online which would require taking a vin number from a form and querying an sqlite database.
2. I also need a simple script to spit out some formatted data from a mysql database (a list of available downloads)
Theres also the issue of user emails which I haven't tackled. The two options to get email out would be to use a different host (sourceforge blocks all outbound connections for security) or use an elaborate polling scheme which would probably take quite a bit of work to do securely. So i'll take suggestions but for now it will probably stay as is.
