Fusion Brain? and the ability to have OM send a command when GMPC speaks rather then just mute, for example, I need to be able to trip a relay on my FB when GMPC speaks so I can flip inputs on my radio.
Fusion brain plugin is already in the works, and I dont think it will be too hard to implement a GMPC speaking event, but justchat will have to verify.
There may be 'better' ways to implement the 'switch audio to voice' mode. Depending on the capabilities of the audio routing plugin, it may be able to automatically reduce the audio volume when speaking. I currently do this with my setup, using kxproject drivers on an Audigy board. it is far less intrusive than switching inputs, or full mute of media.

Yea there is a speakingStarted and speakingComplete event that fires both when GMPC starts/stops speaking and when OMs built in speech synthesis starts/stops speaking.
I think he meant switching his radio to pc audio which is something that would need to be a hardware thing. You're right though, lowering system volume when speaking could be done by the Audio Router...its currently used for all the radio plugins.

Thats good news
You are correct, that is what I meant and something I am working on perfecting with RR at this point since I am able to do this with it. But once the hardware is working correctly it would be only switching to OM when it all works.
Thanks,
Dave
well, really, if your only audio sources are OM, and the nav speech, you shouldn't need any switching...
