If i could do it on Linux i would be a linuxICE developer right now
Windows only (their latest recognition is probably the best in the world)...requires xp or higher although vista or 7 are recommended for best results.
Unfortunately, unless nuance changes their minds and ports their sdk to Linux, Linux probably won't be seeing speech recognition for quite a while.

Sweet!! Combine this with a good mic and noise should not be a problem (even in a running car).
Will this also handle non american names?
I guess I have to pronounce them in an "american" way but some of the speech recognition software that I've tried before have had problems as soon as you start to go outside of "main street" language.
Failure is not an option...
