What happened to OS X support? 0.7 was touted as bringing os x support back?
You guys are supposed to be the saviour of the mac crowd?
Ok I tried the updated HD radio module and it worked!!... sort of.
The crash is gone and OM is stable but there are numerous problems that I will do my best to describe. HD radio has a very weird "echo" in the stream which goes away if I hit the stop button on the media bar. Strange but after I hit the stop it sounds perfect. Navigating away from radio does not stop the radio stream. I can click music, load my list, and play a mp3, but the radio also keeps playing. I know RR handles this by muting the line-in, not sure how OM works it. So yes the HD radio is working, but once launched it won't stop lol. If I return to Radio the echo comes back until I hit stop again. So overall it works, scans and saves fine, changes stations fine, but has the echo issue along with being unstoppable. Also noticed the entire OM suite seems to get a bit laggy once HD radio is launched. Otherwise it's very snappy.
Music player is cool and intuitive, I really like where this is headed. One gripe is I can't use the forward arrow to advance a song, or just put my entire list on shuffle. Could be me, maybe im missing something, but can;t seem to get that working.
GPS embedded fine and appears to work good using iGuidance. Embedding could perhaps use a IGnative mode to remove the tool bars from the app to show more map space.
Overall I'm liking OM so far, pretty darn good for a 0.7 release (beta)
I was also wondering if I can turn off the fade effects? They are cool but I think the interface would be even quicker without them.

This is my biggest complaint with RR...they touch a lot of things they really shouldn't touch. An application should never be muting and unmuting system wide volume controls it should be handling audio in a way that effects only itself and no other applications. Just follow jmullans instructions and it will undo what RR did.
Not sure exactly if I understand the question.. a long click on either an artist or an album will queue the entire selection for playback. Then the next/previous buttons or next/previous gestures can be used to control playback. Shuffle is done with a random button on the bottom right of the media bar (tap to enable/tab to disable). We have support for much more advanced music management but haven't finished the skin for it yet.
Yea embedding external GPS is not the recommend GPS method (just a placeholder for now). You'll hear more about our nav plans over the next few weeks.
Yea thats one of the changes for 0.8...smoother effects that transition a lot faster (so you can get to the next screen quicker). Until then effects can be disabled by going to Settings-> General Settings and checking "Disable Advanced Graphics". That should provide the snappy interface you're looking for.
