You will need to remove the OMWinHal and OMPlayer projects from the solution since those are windows only...but after that it should compile and run fine.

"OpenMobile has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

If I leave the window open and continue on with OpenMobile, it functions. If I close it, OpenMobile closes.

Any advice at your convenience would be appreciated. Temporarily running XP SP3 on a netbook.

    Cheers,

What plugins are installed? If you installed speech i would probably remove that...hasn't been certified bug free on xp yet.

Thanks JC. I believe you are right, I just viewed the error signature and it indicated speech module.

    Cheers.

Found another little skinning issue on the weather page.. it doesn't format well with forecast temps in the triple digits...

Have no fear... it will be implemented. Please continue to realize that OM development stages focus on certain aspects of the program. 0.7 was enhancing and finalizing all media interfaces (music, tuners, videos... etc.) 0.8 is scheduled and planned to completely redesign the animation and skinning capabilities of OM for hardware acceleration. We even have two completely new skin designs under development that are much more intuitive than the skin that comes with the download.

    Ok,

Gave it a good o'll college try -- but I am getting errors that state the following:

"the type or namespace name 'openmobile' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference"

I know this isn't officially released, but if you have the time I would surely appreciate the help.

To play all... choose an artist or album and long click.

Please don't get the idea thatg I was upset about its current state in any way. I was responding to the comment that it was intuitive on a touchscreen.

    A couple of things:

    1. Is there a way to thumbs up or down a song in Radio for Pandora?

    2. Thanks for posting about the scrolling of the list for button selection. It is not apparent to the user that the list can be scrolled down. I tried and tried to get it to scroll but only got gestures on the screen. Clicking one of the selections and dragging finally allowed me to scroll.

I've heard a few people say its not very intuitive.....but if it was on a cell phone thats the first thing you would try. Its not very intuitive because you're not used to doing that on a PC. Regardless, scroll bars are coming.
