Just a further note on my hibernate/resume issue. Note that it is only obvious using HD Radio (Line-In) but I don't claim it's the plugin. I'm just lost really....
If HD Radio is playing, then hibernate, resume, the radio appears to be playing, but no audio coming out. If I exit OM, go back in, play radio, it works.
If I play music, hibernate, resume, I hear music. If I switch to Radio, no audio, I actually still hear the music. Exit OM and back in, things work.
If I exit OM and then hibernate, fire up OM, things seem to work as intended.
I do notice when I exit OM there are several instances of the ffdshow icon in the running tasks bar in windows.
Perhaps not related, but I hear click/pop sound between songs in the music library.
Still lovin the latest release though. Definite improvements.
Running on my Desktop PC (Win7 64bits). It does not show my webcam. After I select some plugins, how can I install some more?
Also, I have seven drives in this system, and I can't scroll after the third drive, only documents, music (that's disorganized music and other sound files, samples, beeps, etc.), videos, pictures, plus drives c, d and e are shown. My Music colection is on drive F: and I can't select it or type it.
I have not tried using playlists. Does shuffle work on playlists? Perhaps I could build a list with all songs and let that play.
Thanks for listening :D
As of right now, when playing in random mode, if you ask OM to play all the songs in the library, it will start with a random song from the 1st artist and the 1st album. This is done for performance reasons. As the song is playing, it starts to build the playlist in the background. This is done for instant response. If we were to wait for it to build the playlist, depending on the size of the music collection, there could be a noticable lag before the music starts, and we try not to be laggy. Where this becomes an issue, is when the 1st artist and the 1st album of that artist dont have that many songs to choose from. If you only have 2 songs, well its either going to start with 1 or other everytime you ask it to play.
If you select anything and press play, it is only going to play what was selected. There is no way to select a song to begin playback on that I know when playing an entire library particularly in random.
If you want it to randomize all of the songs, and not start with the first artists album, then load all the songs by selecting artists--> play. Then navigate to playlists, Long click the Current Playlist and name it something like ALL SONGS. Then anytime you want to play your entire collection and have it play randomly starting with any song, then you can just load that playlist.
We're working on the documentation, but glad I could help.
