The trunk builds have a brand new version of OMPlayer which is optimized to take advantage of new functionality in vista and above. It should fix any playback issues you were having.

Umm, I don't know how to take advantage of trunk builds or if you are suggesting I give them a try. Not important, I can wait for 0.9 release.

I know some users dont like waiting

Thanks. I'll give it shot somewhere along the way. I assume I will need a net connection to include some plugins and skins and it's not readily available at work here.
