    OpenMobile Linux Install help

    Im new to linux and trying it out and cant seem to get this to install. Itried using the terminal but i get an error saying it cant write to the default location. Anybody know how to install this on ubuntu

    you need to use your sudo powers:

    sudo sh OpenMobileInstall.bin

    ...something like that.

    I used sudo and it opened up the install but while installing it had a problem. Also I think I might need mono but not sure how to install that either

    the ubuntu software center is your friend. I thought the latest versions of OM did dependency installations?

    So far I was able to go through the process and install it but then once it gets to 100% it says it has an error (will edit with screenshot in a few currently on different computer) that has a problem with mono not sure what the problem is as Im new to ubuntu

    Make sure the plugins installed are ones that are supported under Linux...

    here is the error I get at the end of the install, not sure what I need to do to fix this

    0.9 does....but its not released yet.

    Ok I got the application installed without any errors but I cant start it, when i click on the desktop icon i get the following error:
    "Details:Failed to execute child process "/home/deering/Desktop/mono" (No such file or directory)

    What about Applications -> Other -> openMobile? I'm guessing the install was half as root and half as local user so the desktop shortcut is wrong.
