Not sure if I'm the only one who thinks this way, but a couple ideas I thought of. If anything, maybe they can be turned on/off in the settings.
1. Having more than 1 music path. I use jump drives/external drives a lot, and always copying music to the internal drive of my carpc takes time/HD space that I'd rather avoid. Anything besides the first path could be periodically checked to see if it exists and if it does load the artists/albums normally (Maybe a check for usb plug-n-play type stuff).
2. Music sorting. I noticed that the songs inside the albums folders are arranged alphabetically. To myself, it makes sense if the songs were arranged in the track orders.
Great job so far though!
Maybe my one jump drive I've been using lately is causing the issues. It brings up an extra 2 drives (one cd and one removable). The source button only lists the cd drive part, not the removable one.
Thanks on the sorting option
U3 software does this-- the first partition acts as normal rewritable flash partition, the second partition displays as a cd- drive and has the U3 software on it-- it is supposed to make file tranfers easier, but i always found it a PITA
i think my dad still has one laying around. if you run stuck, i should be able to dig it up in case you need it.
