I bought the Diamond BVU195 using the DL-195 (latest) chipset.

    Works great for me.

Yup, I have the DL-195 chip set also.

I noticed the same thing with virtual machines. The host will have a mouse, but the vm will not, but I can clearly touch things. Since I plan to hide the cursor anyways, its no big deal.

I will admit that I like VMplayer, but I couldn't get the VM to open what screen I wanted. Also setting up USB devices and getting them to stay after restart was an issue for me. With VirtualBox I do not have those issues, but I do have shutdown issues, and the invisible cursor on the VMs with VirtualBox.

YES! I have played 2 different movies one on each screen and it had no hiccups. Naturally I don't watch a movie on the main screen while driving. However, a front passenger and a rear passenger could. I have learned to not watch the screen when that happens (don't ask). And that likelihood is usually on a long road trip only.

Oh, does this count the touchscreen driver? I mean, it's one driver for all touchscreens. Will OM see them as two different input devices, assignable to each zone? I think it does but just can't recall until I go back out there and check. Busy at work can't you tell? LOL.

Of course, rear zones don't need GPS. But they might want to watch the route/progress. I have not tried, but I thought xport might do the job (if VMs were to be used) to create multiple comm ports.

I have installed VirtualBox on my main computer in the house. So far so good, but I have not yet tried to run OM inside one or more VMs. I will wait until the multiple hardware issue is corrected first. While I really want to have working multi-zone (bragging rights when showing folks ), it's not a do-or-die thing right now, since 95% of my carpc use is me commuting to work and back on a daily basis. There are other small usability issues I'd like to see corrected. The bulk of MZ is there and I feel we're not far off.

Yeah you seem really busy... lol!
I don't have two touchscreens of the same type so I can't confirm this but it should list them as separate units (although) not before I commit my version of the code (still working on some other issues) so hold off your testing until you get the updated version.

Thanks. No worries on the waiting. I think Heezer7 wants to add a change or two to other things as well. I'm happy to wait a bit.

He probably already mentioned them but it would be great if he listed the changes now that I'm already playing around with that part of the code.
