    A quick question.....

The "teaser" as I like to call this thread was started on August 5th, 2013 and the last "tease" was posted September 24th, 2013. That was almost 4 month ago now. Is there a better way to know what you guys or up to or to help test with you? I know that people are (or at least were) still working on the project but from an outsiders perspective it feels like OM is dead or really only shared with those who are actively working on it. Is there a way to be more "in the loop" so to speak?

    Hey,

We're all still very much active, in fact we committed a major update 3 days ago to sourceforge. But most of the development discussions usually go via the OM Development forum or Skype.
I can see that the project can appear dead from the outside and we (me) is not at all good at posting the latest development / progress here on mp3car but I can assure you that development is still moving forward. Although not always as speedy as we wish as we all still have our day jobs and somewhat busy lives. I guess we should be better at posting progress...

You're welcome to join in on the OM dev forum to help with development or test stuff if you like. If you're after the latest code you'll get the latest "public" code at sourceforge. The latest dev code isn't always committed until we feel it's at a relatively stable state.

Here's some screenshots of the latest developments:

    Hi Borte,

Thanks for your response. I'd love to join the dev forum however I see nowhere to do that. I'm not a developer myself, but I wouldn't mind volunteering some of my time to test in Linux (when you have something current available) and if I have the time I could possibly help with some documentation as your sourceforge "Documentation" page is completely blank. How do I get to your Dev forum?

    PM Sent.

As for the Linux side we haven't focused on that for the current version (0.9) as we wanted to make a fully working version available for one OS first (Windows) then make it compatible for Linux and others. It all comes down to that we have still been developing the core and framework and we wanted to freeze features at on OS before trying to replicate it for the rest.

But we're happy if you could provide some help / testing on the Linux side as we're currently lacking expertise on that.
